NW High School Athletic Association

Junior Boys 2A Basketball Districts was hosted on Saturday, February 10 in Lloydminster AB/SK. It was a hard-fought day of basketball featuring teams from the Lloydminster League (College Park Cobras, Holy Rosary Raiders 1, and 2) and the host ES Laird Sabres.

The final came down to two familiar teams as the Lloydminster League winners Holy Rosary Raiders fought it out with the host ES Laird Sabres. The Sabres battled hard, dominated the glass, and rebounded well defeating their rivals in Holy Rosary.

Congratulations to this year’s 2A Boys District Champions the ES Laird Middle School Sabres! Congratulations also to the silver medalist Holy Rosary Raiders.
