Junior Girls 2A Basketball Districts was hosted on Saturday, February 10 in Lloydminster AB/SK. It was a hard-fought day of basketball featuring teams from the Lloydminster League (Holy Rosary Raiders and Bishop Lloyd Lancers), the Meadow Lake League (Carpenter Spartans), and the host ES Laird Sabres.

The final came down to the dominant Holy Rosary Raiders and the host ES Laird Sabres. While the Sabres challenged the Raiders early on with a competitive start the Raiders fought back and proved why they were favoured winning with a final score of 51-25.

Congratulations to this year’s 2A Girls District Champions the Holy Rosary High School Raiders! Congratulations also to the silver medalist ES Laird Sabres.
