NW High School Athletic Association

Jr. Girls 2A Volleyball Districts were held in Onion Lake at Sakāskohc High School on Saturday.

After losing to Bishop Lloyd in 3 sets during round robin play, the Holy Rosary Raiders met up with ES Laird once again in the finals. The road to the finals saw both the Raiders and Sabres compete in gruelling 3 set playoff matches that both went almost 2 hours a piece against Carpenter High School and College Park respectfully.

In the end Holy Rosary outlasted the competition and the won the rematch against ES Laird.

Congratulations to this year’s District winners the Holy Rosary Raiders! Congratulations also to the silver medallist ES Laird Sabres.
