NW High School Athletic Association

Jr Girls 1A Volleyball Districts were held in Neilburg on Saturday with 5 schools competing at the event (Neilburg, Maidstone, Paradise Hill, Birch Narrows and Makwa). All teams displayed excellent sportsmanship and even better play throughout the entire tournament. However, it came down to a final between the host Neilburg Trojans and rivals Maidstone Huskies. In an excellent final, Neilburg came out strong in set 1 winning 25-12. While Maidstone battled back in set 2 and rallied hard, it was Neilburg who pulled through for the 25-16 win!

Congratulations to this year’s District winners the Neilburg Trojans! Congratulations also to the silver medallist Maidstone Huskies.
