Stingers Rock the House at NWHSAA Jr. Curling Championship!

On February 12th, St. Walburg hosted the North West Junior Curling championship.
10 teams attended the championship: Two teams from Ile-a-la-Crosse and St Walburg along with teams from Maidstone, Lashburn, Bishop Lloyd (Lloydminster), ES Laird (Lloydminster), Ernie Studer (Loon Lake) and Jonas Samson (Meadow Lake).
The day was filled with lots of close matches and great shot making. In the end Jonas Samson claimed the gold medal by defeating Bishop Lloyd in the final. Bishop Lloyd claimed the silver medal.
A big thank you goes out to St. Walburg school and the St. Walburg Curling Club for hosting the event.
