NW High School Athletic Association

The North West District Curling Championships took place February 9th at the Meadow Lake Curling Club.

There were 11 Teams competing in the Boys, Girls and Mixed Categories. The schools represented were Lloydminster Comprehensive, Maidstone High, Lashburn High, Ernie Studer, Rossignol High, St. Walburg and Carpenter High.

There were exciting shots, extra ends and great sportsmanship displayed during the event. Two teams from each category advance to SHSAA Regional Curling March 1 and 2nd hosted in Meadow Lake.

The North West champions were:

Girls – Gold – Lloydminster Comprehensive, Silver– Carpenter High School

Boys – Gold – Lloydminster Comprehensive, Silver – Carpenter High School

Mixed – St. Walburg, Silver – Maidstone High
