Coaches!

             Goodsoil Central School will be hosting Sr. Golf District Playoffs on Thursday, September 13th at Northern Meadows Golf Course.  Northern Meadows Golf Course is located 8 km. west of the village of Goodsoil.  For more information on the course layout, please check out their website at www.northernmeadows.com.

            The format for the Senior competition will follow the format of N.W.H.S.A.A. Activity Guidelines for Sr. Golf.  Coaches will be assigned as “competition facilitators.” Please familiarize your competitors with the lateral hazards rule which will be in effect for the competition. A shotgun start will be used and start time will be at 10:00 a.m.  Each school will need to determine its own team with a maximum of 8 participants, with no more than 6 of one gender. There will be a separate boys team competition and girls team competition. Teams are made up of 3-4(boys) and 2-4(girls) each. A school may have only one ‘school team’ (i.e. 4 boys), but still have 1 or 2 individual girls as well as 1 or 2 more individual boys. Coaches must indicate CLEARLY in their email which golfers they want participating in the team competition. All golfers will automatically be entered in the individual competition.

Entries are due by Tuesday, September 11th (early in the day if possible, this deadline will be firm.)

The tournament will begin with a coaches meeting at 9:30 am sharp! Also, we would appreciate if you had any parents who are coming if you could ask them to help as competition facilitators.
