NW High School Athletic Association

Nine students from Carpenter High School and 2 from Jonas Samson Jr. High qualified for SHSAA provincial wrestling. This is an increase of 3 from last season.The Spartans had their most successful championship ever as  more athletes than ever advanced to medal matches.

Tavin Bear, Savanna Russell and Skyla Russell all earned bronze medals.  Jacob Ambroziak successfully defended his provincial title earning his second consecutive gold medal.  Parker Vandale and Cody Barden fought hard in the bronze medal matches, but unfortunately it wasn't their day. They did however earn valuable team points by placing 4th. 

The boys wrestling team accumulated 20 team points - enough to capture the schools first ever SHSAA 3A Provincial Wrestling title.
