Marshall Continues Winning Ways in NWHSAA Jr. Girls Basketball!

On February 10th, St. Walburg played host to the 2018 Junior Girls 1A Basketball NWHSAA Championships.
The tournament featured the Paradise Hill Panthers, Rossignol Huskies, St Walburg Saints and the Marshall Marauders.
The event displayed extremely high quality competitive basketball which saw many very close games.
In the semi-finals, Marshall beat Paradise Hill, and St. Walburg edged Rossignol.
In the 3rd place consolation game, Paradise Hill beat Rossignol in a close game.
The gold medal final between St. Walburg and Marshall was an intense game from start to finish The game would be decided in the last seconds when Marshall took a 5 point lead to win the final 47-42.
