Island Lake Caps Season With SHSAA 3A Boys Volleyball Gold!

The Island Lake boys volleyball team capped off their volleyball season with a SHSAA 3A boys gold medal.
The Warriors, finished pool play in first place with a 3-1 record. In the quarter final, Island Lake faced Kipling, the events host. The Warriors went on to defeat Kipling 2-0 to advance to the semi final. In the semi, the Warriors got all they could handle as they fought to a 2-1 victory and an opportunity to compete for gold.
In the final, there was no stopping the Warriors as they defeated Meath Park in straight sets 25-19, and 25-15 to earn the SHSAA 3A boys gold medal.
The NWHSAA congratulates Island Lake on a tremendous season!
