The Rossignol Huskies from Ile-a-la-Crosse girls volleyball team got rolling Friday at the SHSAA 2A provincial championships and never looked back!

The Huskies went 4-0 in their pool defeating Birch Hills, Davidson, Lemberg and Leader to advance to the play-offs.

In their quarter final match the Huskies defeated Langham 2-0 to advance to the semi-final. In the semi-final, the Huskies would again battle the host Davidson Raiders (the eventual bronze medalists). The Huskies would again prevail defeating Davidson 2-0.

This set the stage for the two undefeated teams to meet for the gold medal. The Huskies vs the Muenster Cougars. In the final, Muenster proved to be too much for Rossignol with their solid play both offensively and defensively.
