NW High School Athletic Association

The NWHSAA 3A Jr. Girls Volleyball Districts were held in Lloydminster at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School on Wednesday, October 29th. Teams from Holy Rosary, Carpenter High School, and Lloyd Comp battled for the opportunity to be crowned District Champions.

The round-robin featured many tight games and strong competition. The Bronze medal game had Holy Rosary facing Carpenter High School. Although Carpenter won the round-robin race-off, the Raiders emerged victorious with a two-set win, advancing them to the Gold medal game against the undefeated round-robin winners, Lloyd Comp Barons.

After a convincing first game win, the Barons were unable to fend off a comeback in the second game by the Raiders. The third and deciding game was a close battle throughout, with the Holy Rosary Raiders completing the comeback to win the Gold medal as District Champions!
