NW High School Athletic Association

Congratulations to the Thunderchild Thunder Senior Boys Volleyball team on their gold medal domination at the 2A Boys Provincial Tournament over the Nov 22-23 weekend in Wilkie. The boys dropped one set in seven matches to finish 1st overall.

The boys started pool play with the following results:

W 2-0 Paradise Hill
W 2-0 Moose Jaw Cornerstone
W 2-0 Arcola
W 2-1 Hepburn

The 4-0 record had the boys 1st place in pool A and qualifying for the playoff round where they posted the following results:

Quarter Final W 2-0 Island Lake
Semi Final W 2-0 Hepburn
Bronze Game W 2-0 Osler Valley Christian Academy

Paradise Hill and Island Lake also represented the NWHSAA at the 2A Boys Provincial Tournament. Paradise Hill went 1-3 in round robin to finish in 4th place in pool A. They dropped their quarter final game to Osler VCA 2-0. Island Lake went 1-3 in round robin to finish in 4th place in pool B. They dropped their quarter final game to Thunderchild 2-0.
