NWHSAA Senior Golf Championships and Results

NWHSAA Sr. Golf Districts

            NWHSAA Sr. Golf Districts were held at Northern Meadows Golf Course in Goodsoil on Wednesday, Sept. 14th. We had 32 athletes compete in the event, and it was a gorgeous day!

The competition was tight in the team event, with Turtleford advancing to provincials over Eagleview by 5 points. Eagleview and Turtleford also dominated the individual event.  Kenley Lewis from Eagleview captured  gold with a score of 74,  Jarret Calvert won silver with a score of 75, and Ethan Macdonald finished in 3rd with a score of 76.

In the female competition St. Walburg’s Jayden Bauer won the gold medal with a score of 106, and Raylynn Laursen from Pierceland captured silver with a score of 129.

Congratulations to these athletes, and good luck at Provincials! Provincials will be held at Madge Lake Golf Course on the weekend of September 23rd/24th.
