NW High School Athletic Association

The junior curling district competition was held on February 24 in St. Walburg.  10 teams attended this event.  Each league sent two representatives.  The reps were as follows: Battle River: 2 teams from Maidstone. Central: St. Walburg and Edam. Lloydminster: Bishop Lloyd and ES Laird. Meadow Lake: 2 teams from Jonas Sampson. Beaver River: 2 teams from Ille a la Crosse.

Bishop Lloyd and Maidstone played in the semi final.  Maidstone was the winner.  Jonas Sampson and Maidstone played in the final.  Maidstone won and Jonas Sampson received the silver medal.

All of the teams had a great day, displaying good sportsmanship and skill.
